a drug problem

If you or someone close to you has developed a problem with drugs, there is help at hand. There are groups and services available locally with experience of helping and supporting people overcome their addiction. You may have a concern about a member of your family or someone close to you misusing drugs such as cannabis, ecstasy or heroin. You may be unsure on how to approach the situation and are looking for guidance on the best approach. There are are many sources of good information available and people to speak to. Below are listed just a few possible sources of help.

Drug Action Team (WDAT’s) - www.wdat.org.uk primary responsibility is to ensure that high quality drug services are provided throughout Warwickshire, however the WDAT is also involved in providing education and information on substance misuse.

Warwickshire Substance Misuse Services 01926 885 000 - Offers drug related advice, information and support to drug users, their families and friends. Mon - Fri 10am - 6pm

National Drugs Helpline 0800 776600 - Offers advice to the public on drugs 24 hours a day.
