Like every small country town in the UK Shipston is not immune to problems with illegal drug use. Whilst the Police are working to cut off the supply and reduce the opportunities for dealers to deal on our streets, we can all ensure that the community in Shipston and surrounding areas work together to minimise the problem.

DASH aims to forge partnerships in Shipston to reduce the damage done to our community by drugs. We aim to help young people resist drug misuse in order to achieve their full potential in society. We believe that everyone in the community has a role to play in this process, and we invite everyone to become involved...

what DASH is doing

DASH is working with everyone in the local community to reduce the damage done by illegal drugs.

DASH supports other activities and groups in the town which work with local young people.

DASH holds public meetings to raise awareness and knowledge about drug related issues.

Empowers and enables young people themselves to organise social activities in the town.

DASH runs education sessions on drug misuse in conjunction with Shipston High School.

VOLUNTEERING - to help with events and activities in the Shipston area

ENCOURAGING - tell your friends about DASH and spread the word about how our community can work together to reduce the damage done by illegal drugs.
